EMPOWERING WOMEN AND ELEVATING WELLNESS

Welcome to Becoming Balanced

Our focus is on helping women be well — physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially. Between careers, caregiving, relationships, and everything else on your plate, it's easy to put yourself last. Our psychotherapy services are here to help you find your footing again, so self-care and your other responsibilities can coexist rather than compete.

We've created a space that feels less like a clinical office and more like a second home; one where you can slow down, exhale, and focus on your whole health in a way that's warm, convenient, and easy to access.

Empowering Women. Elevating Wellness.

Why Becoming Balanced?

Women face a higher risk of both mental health challenges and chronic medical conditions, often because they're so busy caring for everyone else that their own needs get pushed to the back burner. We're here to help with what you're facing right now, and to help build the kind of resilience that protects your wellbeing down the road.

We do this through evidence-based psychotherapy, delivered with the same warmth and care you'll feel the moment you walk through our door. Because true wellness touches every part of you, we also believe in caring for the whole person, which sometimes means working alongside your medical team. That’s why we ask clients to complete a Release of Information for other professionals involved in their care, so we can coordinate and ensure everyone supporting you is on the same page.

More Than Just a Clinic

Becoming Balanced was never meant to feel like "just a clinic." We wanted to build a place where women feel truly at home, a space where healing happens through more than individual psychotherapy alone. In addition to individual sessions, we offer group therapy, walking appointments (for those who find movement helps them think and feel more clearly), and a small library of books on women's wellness for you to explore while you're here.

This is a place for empowerment: to take ownership of your story, your growth, and your own path forward.

Our Values and Who We Are

Everything we do at Becoming Balanced is guided by five core values that shape our decisions, for our company, our employees, and, most importantly, for you.

Love

We lead with love instead of fear, for the women we serve and for ourselves. As bell hooks described it, love is “the will to extend oneself for the purpose of nurturing one’s own or another’s spiritual growth,” and that intention guides everything we do.

Empowerment

We believe every woman deserves to find her voice and define wellness on her own terms.

Wellness

Wellness looks different for everyone. We help you define what it means for you —emotionally, socially, physically, spiritually, relationally — and support you in getting there.

Authenticity & Transparency

We strive to practice what we preach. We hold ourselves to the same standards of self-care we encourage in you. We’re also committed to open, honest communication at every stage of your care.

Growth

Personal growth, professional growth, community growth: we’re invested in helping you build a life with more satisfaction and quality, today and long-term.
